Catch Me Outside by $ki Mask The Slump God is the latest single by the young artist. While listening to the album, I felt that Catch Me Outside simply tells the day in the life of $ki.

When you listen to the album, expect to hear fire. Despite some heat, $ki showed a message of realness throughout the album.

This album is a collection of hot sounds, dope beats, and hard melodies, perfect for any traplord.

Jon wayne produced this rapper who sounds unlike anything that I have ever heard before. Like a cross fade between a chill laid back almost R&B sounding voice and what sounds like a deeper voice version of Childish Gambino (on his slower tracks like "Longest Text Message Ever"). All of the beats seem to mellow you out while the rapping is subtle, not over done and way less present then what I am used to while still presenting enough poetry in each of the lyrics to make you think about the storyline that he is trying to tell.

Immediately sounds like 2Pac meets 2017 on the opening track. Wow!!! As someone who has loved the music of Pac, since high school, I cannot believe what my ears are hearing...the lead singer literally sound just like 2Pac and the back up singer literally sounds just like the rapper named Stretch (exact same Vocal inflection).

CD Review of the singles 1.“Motion” and 2.“Issues” from Young RJ

By J.S. Rice

I agree with Jacob Sky Bruce, that Young RJ sounds just like J. Cole when it comes to the sheer ferocity of his rap delivery, but at other times he sounds like the Isley brothers married with KC&JoJo (think song “Crazy”) as can be heard on the track “Issues”.

If you're looking for deep high paced, popular club sounding hip hop mixed with lyrical wit and poetry this is the album for you. There were parts of the album that made me feel like it was simply filled with catchy immoral phrases about getting money and the non existence of love and the "game." E. Grizzly himself however is not just a rap artist. E grizzly is a Hip Hop artist, combining the music with the philosophical and visual. He Grizzly does street art, elements of which are reflected on the cover of this album.

Desiigner redeems himself after a devastating flop on his latest album New English. It's a good step up from what he's released, more of that hype, and hard beats. HE keeps the flows fresh, and maintains the signature sound he had you hooked on from the release of Panda. Instrumentals, could have been better, but I think the verses make up for it. You wont be dissapointed with these tracks. Definately radio worthy, hopefully they can be cleaned in time for play

The New Toronto 2 by Tory Lanez is definitely one of my top picks for underrated music works in the past year.  It most likely flew under people’s radar being released in December. The transitions during and between songs astounded me, so much that songs like “Talk To Me Nice/Fargo” sounds like it could be two different tracks. This style works, however, it is reminiscent of Drake and keeps the listener drawn in.

Nocturnal is a cohesive album that displays the music and artistry of Roy Woods that listeners love. The soft moody beats coincide with Roy Wood’s rapping. The lyrics vary from talking about sex, love, haters, and growing as an artist. However, he mostly talks about relationships or interactions with the opposite sex. His song “Love You”, gets really personal into a presumed breakup with the regret and sorrow that comes with it. Strong correlations can be made from Nocturnal to other Toronto artists like Drake and Tory Lanez.

Kendrick Lamar released a surprise song on March 23, 2017 called The Heart Part 4. This song follows a line of previous tracks of the The Heart Part 1-3. The beginning of the song starts with a slow, mellow beat gradually getting more and more intense as the song continues. The track takes several twists and turns on the beats.
