Meet Young Thug – one of hip-hop’s most ambitious and norm-bending rapper’s in the game at this current moment. Meet Carnage – a Guatemalan producer who makes weird yet interesting beats and is soon to blow up at any moment. The pair had been teasing a collaboration together for quite some time before the release of their collaborative EP titled Young Martha.

Lil Pump’s self-titled mixtape has been all the buzz in the hip-hop scene recently. Although the beats sound distorted, bass-heavy, and basic, Lil Pump’s voice is of a medium frequency and has a youthful tone. (Lil Pump is 17). Some of the songs off of the mixtape, even the most popular ones like “Gucci Gang”, originally premiered on his SoundCloud. This logically explains the lack of production value on the album.

Don't let the album artwork and features fool you! Although A$AP Mob tries desperately to be like one of the old school greats like N.W.A., Run DMC, etc., A$AP Mob has once again fallen short. Not to say I didn't enjoy Cozy Tapes Vol. 1 but let's just say that Vol 2. is similar in the fact that the mixtape is nothing that will leave you astounded by the skill of the group. I was so excited for this mixtape after reading the list of features. I thought, "Aw man, A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, and Jaden Smith on a track together?!

Sounds Like:
A$AP Rocky - obviously since he is one of the prominent members of A$AP Mob. Mumble rap and darker beats
Sounds Like:
Playboi Carti - On many of the hooks. Chanting hooks and sometimes high energy

This album "Babylon Remixes" has three remixes by Josh Pan and X&G, Skrillex and Ronnie J, and also Sober Rob and Oshi, with the original track "Babylon" coming from Ekali featuring rapper Denzel Curry. The original track showcases Ekali's trap side, versatility, and ability to collaborate with use of percussion and arrangement of Denzel Curry's textured bars.

Issa Album by 21 Savage is the ambitious debut of the hardened rapper. To try and characterize the vibe, I felt that Issa Album tells the story of 21's transition from the hood to where he's at now.

When you listen to the album, expect to hear realness from the core. Even though there was indifference from ambition, 21 told a message of the struggle to express himself throughout the album.

This album is a collection of hard sounds, quality beats, and dark melodies, perfect for any aspiring savage.

Giraffage ft. Matosic

This single by Giraffage was fun and exciting. The varying pattern of beats kept me engaged, although the end of the song tended to be a bit repetitive. The beginning was mostly chill electronic while the song shifted more towards the trap border as it progressed. It was a good combination that avoided chaos but also boredom. I normally am not a huge fan of RPM but this song was definitely an exception.

Desiigner redeems himself after a devastating flop on his latest album New English. It's a good step up from what he's released, more of that hype, and hard beats. HE keeps the flows fresh, and maintains the signature sound he had you hooked on from the release of Panda. Instrumentals, could have been better, but I think the verses make up for it. You wont be dissapointed with these tracks. Definately radio worthy, hopefully they can be cleaned in time for play

Rich the Kid, the Atlanta rapper that everyone has heard of once but doesn't really choose to acknowledge, has released his new mixtape, "The Rich Forever Way." While his song "Plug", which is not on this mixtape, has been popular right now, it's mostly because of the features on it, such as Kodak Black. This mixtape proves that Rich the Kid is better with features than by himself.
