"MILAULONGTIME" is Mila J's 7-track Valentines Day mixtape. Although it's a Valentines drop, the songs are pretty diverse in moods. The opening track MOVE is a trap banger with that 'fuck the haters' type of vibe. FUCKBOY is a funky r&b song, probably holds the record for r&b song with the most f-bombs. YESTERDAY is a trap ballad featuring I.Rich.

Adolph "Young Dolph" Thorton released his new mixtape "Gelato" the day after releasing Play Wit Yo Bitch, a Yo Gotti diss track. The 11-track mixtape begins with title track Gelato and ends with the You Gotti diss track. The features on this record blend well with Young Dolph's trap style. Wiz Khalifa is featured on On the River.

22 Savage, not to be confused with the totally not famous rapper 21 Savage, has a new mixtape called "Nothing 2 Live 4." While it may seem that 22 Savage has so many things to live for (his hos, his money, his hood, and his reputation), surprisingly enough he still has nothing to live for. Maybe it's because people still think that 21 Savage is better than 22 Savage? Don't be confused, as 22 Savage says, "this ain't 21 b****, this 22!" He makes that abundantly clear in the first track.

In all honesty, I had always heard of RiFF RAFF, but never really heard his music before... asides some of Lil Debbie's songs in which he is featured in. He's also someone that I never knew was meant to be taken seriously, or just turn your brain off and listen to his music. With two studio albums and a plethora of mixtapes under his belt, RiFF RAFF's nineteenth mixtape titled Aquaberry Aquarius actually managed to blow away my expectations of both his music, and my perception of him as an artist.

G Jones has done it again. The Visions EP is 23 minutes of your life that you will not get back, not that you will you want to get back.  While trying to come up with comparisons to other artists G Jones is a possibly more glitchy Bassnectar. Jones definitely stayed true to his style in the “Visions” EP. After seeing G Jones DESTROY Gem and Jam I could not be more excited to review this EP.

When Katy Perry brought out the legendary Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot out as a guest performer for her 2015 Super Bowl Half-Time Show performance, it made me realize that Missy Elliot has been absent from the music world for quite some time. Her last record The Cookbook was released back in 2005 - 12 years ago, with her last single "WTF (Where They From) being released back in 2015. A little over 2 weeks ago, Missy surprised the world with a brand new single AND a music video, and garnered a good amount of attention for it.

As you can imagine by the name and the album art of the project, the direction and theme borrow influences from The Karate Kid and any other stereotypical, westernized view of Asian culture. The tape opens with an offensive Asian accent complete live action karate sounds to bring the accompanying artwork full circle.

I was curious to see what Gucci Mane did upon getting out of prison. Would it be a somber, reflective project about dealing with the trappings of fame while maintaining your initial identity and ethos, or the utter bangers that we all wanted to hear? Thankfully, it was the latter. Gucci has been expanding his brand lately, producing the chart-topping hit Black Beatles, but he is still able to make great rap songs. This was a small EP release of three songs, but all of them are awesome. He boasts and is incredibly cocky on these songs, but deservedly so.

Culture (stylized: C U L T U R E) is the 2nd studio album, and the 16th official project from Atlanta Hip-Hop trio Migos. To put this into a bit of context, the Migos broke out into mainstream hip hop in 2013 with their hit single "Versace", which featured a very successful remix feature from a still up and coming Drake.

Tucson-based Vision That's mixtape demonstrates Vision That's (Renk Remy and Zee) variety of skills in hip-hop music production. The mixtape is literally a mix which is refreshing since most rappers stick to one type of sound and that's it. There's a total of 16 tracks and most of them sound pretty different compared to each other both in terms of beat and rap. Track 1 starts out with a beat that immediately had me nodding my head followed with charismatic rapping that really had me relating the ambition Zee has.
