The veteran German metal group "Grave Digger" returns for yet another studio release entitled "Exhumation (The Early Years)". However, this is simply a collection of their old songs from back in the 80's, re- recorded for a fresher, more modern sound. This record contains all of Digger's most memorable, epic songs from the beginning. The only original member on this release is vocalist Chris Boltendahl. Axel Ritt does all the electric guitar work, and his sound is much heavier and cleaner than Digger's older sound, which was much thrashier and raw.

Satan truly is immortal. This five-man heavy metal/speed metal band, starting as early as 1979 in the landscape of British New Metal, helped build the modern genre of speed metal with their quick distorted guitar runs and breakneck pace. Through their long history, they've survived several name changes and band member switchups. For most bands these complications are a death sentence. For Satan, it made "Life Sentence," a fantastic speed metal LP released in 2013 after a decade and a half of inactivity.

On this single, Black Veil Brides bring a rather modern metal, refined sound to their rock show onslaught. Mixing between melodic broken chord breakdowns, and thrashing, double-based verses, "The Legacy" never fails to bring a melodic metal sound. An enjoyable listen for those who aren't sold on throat bellowing metal music, but stil
