Blood For Mercy is Yellow Claw’s best work hands down. There are so many bangers loaded in this 16-song album that it’s hard to pick favorites. This album shows how versatile Yellow Claw is, combining their signature Amsterdam-style trap with a range of genres like deep house on “We Made It” and reggae on “Wild Mustang” and “Bun It Up”. Although this album is mostly “turn up” music, there are some good softer hits, notably “Feel It”. What really makes this album stand out is the quality of vocals.

Excision. Downlink. KJ Swaka. Together known as Destroid. Here is the 11th product of their unification featuring Space Laces. If you're into dubstep and/or hardsyle, this would be a really great song for you. It's got dubstep for you dubstep lovers. It's got hardstyle for you hardstyle lovers. It's even got dubstep then a switch to hardstyle then a switch back to dubstep for you dubstep/hardstyle lovers. But in all seriousness, great track from Destroid. Lots of bass, huge drops, and just a really intense feel altogether.

How this album ended up in the World/Jazz music stacks, is beyond me. Legendary rock band Linkin Park, coming off of their mediocre effort entitled Living Things, decided to go down the Reanimation route with this album. The difference is, where Reanimation reimagined all the songs off of their debut Hybrid Theory, making for a unique listening experience that tided fans over while they awaited their next excellent record; this album is basically “Every song off of Living Things, but with DUBSTEP AND HOUSE!”
