I chose this CD because I thought the album art and overall appearance of the album was funny, but I wasn't really expecting anything impressive wise. I was wrong! This is a nice album with a lot of great songs on it. It carries a cool and interesting vibe throughout the entirety of the album. Overall, it was a memorably quirky album with outstandingly fun elements.

I was really impressed by this album. Having never heard about Helena Hauff, I wasn't sure what to expect when I played it for the first time. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The best way to describe this album is as a mixture of old and new. I can definately hear some acid house influences mixed among the modern electronic beats, which I really liked. Another thing that I liked about this album was that, despite having no vocals, I was never bored listening to it. I usually have a hard time listening to entirely instrumental music, but I didn't have an issue with this album.

Little Daylight's debut album Hello Memory is titled appropriately because it beckons back to music you may have heard in the past while putting an entirely new spin on it. It is similar to the way your memories get distorted and disjointed over time. You will feel like you have heard Little Daylight before as it is very much in the vain of much of the indie alt music that gets put out today. the vocalist has a pleasing and happy voice that makes each song a pleasure to hear. The closest comparison I can think of is a happier Metric.

I love love love love 80s pop and this brings it back HARD. I fell in love with this album the second I heard the vocals. It's straight up Depeche Mode/Pet Shop Boys alley. I almost wish I was an 80s diva or drag queen that rocks tight leather pants, no shirt, and maybe an ascot. Definitely a fancy mustache, too. Can we all just go to Ibiza and love life and music altogether?

So I used to listen to Zero 7 when I was younger...I can't remember crap about them though, so I'm just going to go about this review like it's the first time I've ever heard them. Let's be honest, my memory is crap and it practically is the first time I've listened to them.

Ok ok, this is the album we have all been patiently waiting for deadmau5 to drop. So do yourself the favor and clear out about 2 hours to do mundane tasks (like cleaning or doing homework) while listening to this album. There's 2 discs, and each disc has something awesome to offer, so listen to each disc thorougly :) Both discs have a really nice sprinkling of tracks with deadmau5 classic, classical touch on it. Expect a lot of piano intros, soft guitars, and slow mellow build-ups to a more electro-based drop. Some of these songs will really give you the chills and mellow you out.

I'm sitting here writing this review and for my recommended tracks I already have tracks 1-5 in a row...So that should tell you how dope this album is. I highly recommended freeing up your day and just sitting down and listening to this. Read a book to it. Get some homework done. Just sit down and enjoy it; I implore you to. This is a kind of sound that was not expected out of Porter Robinson. He is an incredibly talented artist who experimented the heck out of this album and nailed it. All I can say is that it is just purely majestic.

Very chill-out album, with awesome lyrics and beautiful synths. Little rock, definitely pop-electro, and kinda dark too. Overall really nice to listen to.

The 4 tracks are a little bit all similar. There are some influences from Daft Punk, Kavinsky and other dark, pop-electro artists.

All the songs are good with the emphasis on 1 and 2.
