Experimental Techno

Music for the Robot Revolution, get ready to hear exactly what you expect with a little more quality then the cover suggests. This album features voice overs, weird ghost music, video game samples and much much more. The beat is pump up, the rifts build and rise, some daunt and taunt and overall the effect is chilling. It is not so much of the end being near as much as it is a rising to the occasion. A welcome party for the future of SCI fib music and the technological overthrow of mankind.

Love Stream, Tim Hecker’s, newest album, is a solid 35 minutes of drone-y ambient fun. Are you in the mood to listen to some light and airy tones that will get you thinking about the metaphysical nature of reality? Are you ready to finally pump out that philosophy paper? Are you in the mood to really ~feel~? Boy, have I got the album for you. Hecker strays away from his darker and hazier style with his newest album. Love Stream is much more light and airy.

If you remember the band the Books, then you might recognize Zammuto, cause Zammuto is that same guy. After the college band broke up Nick Zammuto formed Zammuto. With the band change, the style changed quite a bit as well. The Books were very indie-pop-rock with some electronic, but Zammuto is way more electronic, but still has some of that pop style, for example in Track 8, "IO". The album opens with "Good Graces" which is a good song to start with, with some ambient sounds and laid back feel.
