folk punk

Artist:
AJJ
Label:
SideOneDummy Records

Whether you have been a fan of AJJ since the days of their full name or you are just hearing about them by picking up this CD, (and have any sensible taste in alt/folk-punk music), you will absolutely love this album. I have never heard such a dynamically eerie, yet upbeat album. I have a feeling you'll pop in this album and want to dance, and then call your mom for the first time in a while. Lyrically, the album keeps up those exceptionally existential themes and unique imagery that seem to gracefully crumble out of lead singer, Sean Bonnette's, mouth.

"The best band in America," Frank Turner... I'd believe it! These guys seriously know how to make great music. Being their third album, Real Ghosts Caught on Tape is a definite digression from the previous two, but fantastic nonetheless! Being a little slower, this guitar-centric album still delivers honest, accessible, and fun songs. From track 1 to 11, every song offers catchy, quick tunes, accompanied by the forever cool Chris Farren's raspy vocals. With a punk attitude, indie feel, and folky sound, Fake Problems applies to music lovers of all different tastes and sizes.
