This single was my first encounter of Igorrr. The song begins with operatic vocals over a soft guitar background. These operatic vocals quickly become pained screams followed by a glitchy dubstep breakdown. This breakdown was then followed by beautiful female operatic vocals followed by another breakdown. In this breakdown the male screams and female vocals go back and forth in an epic display of vocal diversity. This is then followed by a continuing dubstep like synth. This is truly an interesting track that spreads many genres of music. I'm truly not sure who to compare this to.

So I thought this album was kind of odd. It has a lot of different types of metal in this album I feel. While the first song reminds me of something similar to Ace of Spades by Motorhead, the second song starts off with some interesting softer riffs that lead into some heavier stuff. There’s quite a range of songs to use from this album so depending on what you’re looking for, so there’s pretty much something for everyone.

I'm not even sure where to begin with this album. It was by far one of the most unique things I've received all year. At first I couldn't really tell whether Japanese metal band SIGH had stole my heart with their new album Graveward or simply helped me dive into madness, but then I realized that they had essentially done both. This album is brutal, in many different ways. SIGH sounds like what I would imagine a supergroup made up of members from Dragonforce, Cradle of Filth, and Dimmu Borgir would sound like.

Self Spiller is weird, but not in a bad way. The music has an almost jazz, almost scary circus theme to it and I really dig it. For die hard metal heads this may not be the best band to recommend. They have a lot of synthetics and sound fake a lot of the time. It’s a really good album though, and I would highly recommend it as a baby step into real metal. It's hard to describe this band because in no way are they alternative music, but they also are not metal. They're an interesting in-between.

Have you ever been at a Mexican food restaurant, and at the end of the meal, mixed your ice cream together with whatever is left of the table such as chips, salsa, beans, soda, black pepper, salt, etc to create some sort of interesting concoction? All those things individually are great on their own. But all in one bite? Absolutely horrible. Much like Karen Page.
