This week I snagged Kutmah's album "TROBBB! (The Revenge Of Black Belly Button!)", because it was given Flying Lotus's seal of approval, and was not entirely disappointed. This album is his 14th release according to BandCamp.com. The album was 58 minutes long and included 31 tracks comprised of some full-length songs, samples, snippets, and glorious interludes.

Astrojaxx's promo single Back to You has an upbeat and a light clubbing feel to it. Listening to it the first time, it gave me a Skrillex vibe but a lighter touch to the EDM. Super addicting to listen to and looking forward to more of Astrojaxx's music!

Kendrick Lamar released a surprise song on March 23, 2017 called The Heart Part 4. This song follows a line of previous tracks of the The Heart Part 1-3. The beginning of the song starts with a slow, mellow beat gradually getting more and more intense as the song continues. The track takes several twists and turns on the beats.

After listening to this album, Crown EP, several timees I can say I've liked it more and more. Lauryn Hill often came to mind. I love the tracks on this album as it shows true talent of a female MC spitting rhyme after rhyme. Gonna Miss You is probably the popular track that features Raphael Saadiq that is one of the more upbeat tracks. Tina Turner is probably my favorite track that whose beats take turns making it one of the more original songs. #Goals is another favorite track that has her providing catchy vocals that flow smoothly along with beat.

This CD has literally been in the bin for a year. I thought I should give it a shot, and I wasn't dissapointed. Pausemc is a basic rapper with some catchy songs and lyrics. I really like the song "Roller Coaster" (track 4) just for the beat. "Nowhere to Hide" (track 2) has such an errie feel and it's kind of awesome. The last song on the album "Escape" has a pretty cool music drop. That song has a more of a edm feel, it would be super sick if someone remixed the song.

Yelawolf released an EP called hotel. It personally is not one of my favorite albums, it sounds like all the other artists on the radio now a days, Yelawolf has a similar sound to G-easy and B.O.B., Yelawolf uses the same formula to get listeners, where the song is a girl singing the chorus which repeates everytime, and then he raps inbetween. Its honestly been done so many times, and as a first time listener of Yelawolf it's kind of sad.

In 2016, A$AP Mob has released tons of new music every Wednesday as part of their Wavy Wednesday series. This particular 4 track tape contains the tracks, "Thumbin", "I Don't Care", "Goldie Mack (Snippet)", and "V Lone". These tracks feature A$AP Ant, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Marty, Playboi Carti, Uno The Activist, and Waka Flocka. If you're a fan of A$AP Mob, you'll enjoy these tracks as much as I did, as they all deliver that signature A$AP sound with eerie, spacious beats with hard hitting 808s and drums.

The group Nevermen is composed of three members: Tunde Adebimpe, Adam "Doseone" Drucker, Keith Tyson, and Mike Patton. The self titled album features a lot of diverse elements stylistically. It features a mixture of singing and rap, showcasing different talents of the members. Overall, you can tell a lot of production and effort went into this album. There is a clear dramatic element weaved through this album. It kind of reminded me of theater music.
