Culture (stylized: C U L T U R E) is the 2nd studio album, and the 16th official project from Atlanta Hip-Hop trio Migos. To put this into a bit of context, the Migos broke out into mainstream hip hop in 2013 with their hit single "Versace", which featured a very successful remix feature from a still up and coming Drake.

The Last Shadow Puppets have in this album mixed together bass heavy rock tracks, french doo-wop, and psychedelic alternative to make a fast paced and comprehensive album that feels like a play rather than a piece of music. Released Dec 2, 2016, this album follows up their previous "Everything You've Come to Expect", which combined alex turners and miles kanes personas into covers and original pieces, and this recent EP followed the same format.

"24k Magic" is the long-awaited 3rd album by accomplished singer/multi-instrumentalist/and producer Bruno Mars, and is his follow-up project to his critically acclaimed album "Unorthodox Jukebox". However, unlike most of the somber and generally subdued songs in "Unorthodox Jukebox", Bruno takes a much more uptempo throwback style similar to that late 80's funk and R&B.

Meek Mill’s “DC4” is the latest (commercial) mixtape in his “DreamChasers” series, and the 13th solo project overall. After a long hiatus from his previous project titled “4/4” (parts 1 and 2) which dropped early 2016, it was crucial for Meek to come up with something that would gain Meek Mill his fanbase back after his rival Drake’s “Views” album became a huge commercial success.

While we patiently wait for "Rubbaband Business: The Album" (dropping later in 2016) and also "THC: The Hustle Continues", Juicy J continues to deliver a string of hit or miss mixtapes to keep his eager fans busy. Fortunately for Juicy J, this mixtape, unlike his previous release, seems to be more of a hit than a miss. In this mixtape, Juicy J goes back to his memphis rap roots and blends it eloquently with modern (Atlanta) trap sound. This mixtape offers a plethora of heavy hitting trap producers including Southside, Lex Luger, Metro Boomin, and TM88.

"Daniel Son; Necklace Don" is the 3rd project released by the rap artist 2 chainz in 2016. This mixtape serves as a followup to his collaboration with legendary southern rapper Lil Wayne in the album "Collegrove", and the other solo mixtape also released this year titled "Felt like Cappin". However, unlike 2015's smash hit mixtape "Trapavelli Tre", nothing about this mixtape appears to stand out as being distinctively different than anything 2 chainz or any other trap rapper couldn't do with the same instrumentals.
