Atlanta Hip-Hop

Ski Mask The Slump God

Ski Mask the Slump God, is a Florida based Hip-Hop singer and songwriter. The first song on this record, Achoo! sounds like many of the trap inspired, mumble rap, that is very common of his contemporaries. The lyrics are the typical, about-nothing, braggadociosness you expect from this type of music. What is dissapointing though is the lack of exectuion, needed to pull it off and have a listener not feel guilty for listening to something that is essentially meaningless.

TK Kravitz does in fact have bangers, there’s no denying that. Coming from Atlanta, you expect nonetheless. I rarely listen to this type of hip hop however I will admit it is a chilled out mixtape from the first song to the last. Maybe I need to listen to it a few more times, or maybe the constant driving from one place to the next in my car and cutting songs adjacent with exit times messes up the vibe. Who knows, but regardless give this a try as an addition to your next hype party vibe mixtape and see if it flies.

"By Chance" is the new single by Rae Sremmurd and producer Mike WiLL Made It. It's one of those songs that everybody likes but still doesn't go big. The song is more mellow than what Rae Sremmurd usually puts out and that's probably because its about looking for weed and xanax. None of the verses are that impressive but its got a catchy piano instrumental it's Rae Sremmurd so it at least deserves a listen.

If you're looking for something to take a break from DS2 with, look no further. Although I tend to associate Scooter with Future, Scooter has certainly developed his own lane. The features definitely keep it moving, including Scooter trading verses with Young Thug and Boosie.
