I picked this album because the album cover is so beautiful and eye catching (no pun intended).

This "digital 45" release from Band & The Beat is not bad, but it's not extraordinary. "21" is a track heavyyyy on the synth, with vocals like Bethany Cosentino and simple, surfy instrumentation. "Buoy" is even more coastal-sounding. The lyrics are what I find lacking--they are mostly shallow, and talk about youth in the really vague way that gives the vibe they are either really old or really privileged. Overall, it's a solid release but it feels too typical to be outstanding.
