InterviewTune in to KAMP this Sunday at noon to hear some acoustic songs by KAMP's own Trevor Lightfoot! Tune in to KAMP at 8pm to hear an interview and possible performance with Chris Young, an up and coming rapper who opened for LMFAO last night! It's going to be legendary. About two weeks ago we had local country/rock artist Conner Cecil come in to the station and do a few numbers off of his new album, "One Time Too Many", and it was just a good ol' rockin' time. Check out the tracks and pick up the album! Tune into KAMP today at 3:00 to hear a special performance and interview with singer/songwriter Justin Klump. He'll also be performing on campus later this evening! K-Wil Ryan Finley from the Arizona Daily Star will join Zach and Chris this Sunday at 11:00am to help breakdown Arizona vs. Stanford, the "mishaps" in Seattle and a few other odds and ends. Be sure to tune in, turn up, and KAMP out! -Zach- Our first in-studio of THIS semester! YAY! These guys were really cool, well trained musicians and they really opened up my eyes to the good music coming out of Lubbock, Texas. They'll be doing their next recordings at Wave Lab here in Tucson during the winter, so stay tuned as we might have them come in again! Check out "Dirtied Your Knees" and "So Regardless", they're my favorites. Oh hello! Didn't see you there! You seem like you would like music. You do?! Well then listen to Origami Ghosts! They played on KAMP in February, but their sound only gets better with age. Go on, click a track, and let the mind-blowing commence. Another chapter in the epic odyssey of past in-studios. This one is from February: a couple of diddies from a PHX band called Sister Cities. Check them out, as they are very cool. http://www.myspace.com/sistercities P.S. Sister Cities, I'm sorry if I obliterated your song names, I tried :) So WAAAYYYY back in April we had Alex Kadet of the Tewlips come in to the studio and play some songs off the Tewlips most recent self-titled album. If you like what you hear check out their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/thetewlips Or just go ahead and buy the whole album! (So worth it) http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/thetewlips We've got quite a few of performances from last semester that didn't make it up, so stay tuned as I continue to post those and new ones as well! On February 10th, 2009, an interview was conducted with the man who will not stop rocking with the exception of full blown AIDS. I, Lucas Steele, spoke with Jesse "Boots Electric" Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal whilst he did his laundry. We discussed everything from rereleasing Pair of Queens to his solo project to the new album. If you like rockin' and tickle pants, check it out! |
