The review for this album is missing, but its sage man, its good. Conshous rap, rap not about bitches and hoes and who can argue with that. Play it, its good, find a song you like, and the best part, its a clean album so you can play them all.

This is classic Sage Francis. This production is great and Sage is always great. Tracks 4 and 8 are pure classic Francis. Though Track 8 is a little on the anti-sematic side. Track 6 makes fun of commercial rap through a phone message skit. The beginning of the CD is filled with guitar driven beats that don't suit Francis' style but he soon rebounds into form as the production becomes better. The best song on the cd is Track 12 as Francis uses wordplay off common phrases to create a masterful song. This track is worth playing show.

Well, um, there really isn't a review for this one... I mean the guy who did it gave it an 8 out of ten and I found it out by the cd player so I'm guessing its pretty good. I mean come on, with a name like Sexy pee Story you know this album is gold.

Ugh. This sounds like cheesy wannabe James Bond movie music adapted for a funky fun car commercial aimed at young adults who dress too well for their own good. I'm usually a big Of Montreal fan, but this single lacks the spark that Of Montreal's music seemed to always have--the infectious, intricate melodies that shift and change numerous times within the same song, and lyrics that are cheeky. This single seems to lack both and instead, just lags. The guitar riff is so generic it makes me want to puke.

M.I.A. has more of a "top 40s hit" vibe on this album, lacking the original beats as she has put out in the past, and is at a loss of meaningful content. However, that isn't to say that the songs aren't enjoyable, it's just that if you are going to compare this album critically to M.I.A.'s previous albums, you're gonna be disappointed/angry, as most people appear to be.

There are some tracks on this album though, that maintain M.I.A.'s originality, such as the tracks I recommended.

Okay holy shit this is really flipping good. If you don't know, Tobacco is Tom Fec of Black Moth Super Rainbow. Maniac Meat incorporates pretty much every genre that was missing from Black Moth Super Rainbow's strictly experimental-electro-pop albums: funk, old school hip hop beats, dubstep, disco (whatever, disco is great), grunge-y guitars, and good old rock 'n roll in a really mind bending experimental way that still manages to be extremely melodic and pleasing to the ears. Beck adds some vocals to two tracks and it works really well.

I give the whole album a 4.5/5.

So this is Apocalyptica's 7th album and it doesn't dissapoint.  The album has some good variety, though there are some times when I feel they need a full time singer.  I like the variety that the guest singers offer, my favorite being Gavin Rossdale at this point, but I do like Joe Duplantier of Gojira quite a bit as well.  The CD has the heavier instrumetal/guest singer songs and then it has some very slow and beautiful instrumentals featuring orchestral instrumentation (not full of course) that sounds amazing.  Overall the CD definitely has a theme to its sound and it
