I picked this album because the album cover is so beautiful and eye catching (no pun intended). Mint Field is made up of a Tijuana dúo, Estrella Sanchez and Amor Amezcua. They are making fuzzy, dream, ambient music that calms people like a lavender bedtime spray. It is not as rough as My Bloody Valentine but softer than Beach House, truly a nice combo. “Quiero Otoño De Nuevo” is the PERFECT driving song, it’s moving and beautiful. With 13 songs, this album can get a bit mundane because it is mostly instrumental. However, if it’s listened to in bits then its great. Plus its an all girl band which, all the power to them!!  This album is also all in Spanish which is really refreshing in the shoegaze, dream pop genre.

Sounds Like:
Softer version of My Bloody Valentine

Quiero Otoño De Nuevo - translates to I it to be Fall again, it is the perfect nostalgic driving song
