Black Panther was an amazing movie, and this is the perfect album to be part of its soundtrack. Songs like Opps with Vince Staples and Yugen Blakrok take me back to the intense car chase scene where you can see all the impressive technology of Wakanda put into action. Big names like Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, and SZA are heard in the soundtrack, amazing as always. All the tracks are really catchy, classic hip hop tracks with solid vocals. Some of them have beats in the background that embrace the sound of African drums, channeling the culture displayed in the film. Others have suspenseful elements to compliment scenes in the movie. Other tracks like I Am by Jorja Smith and The Ways by Khalid and Swae Lee discuss themes of bravery and love that are related to and inspired by the movie. These two are more R&B, but nonetheless still really great, catchy tracks.
