Where to even begin? This is just GOOD stuff man. This album is a certified jam factory; watch out Smuckers. The opening track, “Mama Bling,” features a ridiculously catchy synth beat that sounds like it could be on a Chance the Rapper project. Also there’s a nice Sex and the City ref, so bonus points, Nomad. The next big track, “Marbled,” which is aptly named, because it features a beautiful marbling of synth and drums, has great potential to be a radio single for this new artist. But, not as much as the dreamy and irresistable, “Somebody to Love,” featured toward the end of the album. It was released as a single and video last summer, but it hasn’t quite reached the mainstream ears yet. Once it does, it is sure to be hit. It has all the ingredients; a groovy guitar riff, an easy to learn, infectious chorus, and production that is perfectly calculated to sound as carefree as a summer day.  This is a great start for the LA based rapper; it oozes with potential in all areas from production to lyricism.
