Decadence Arizona 2017 was the ultimate way to celebrate the end of the year and the most perfect beginning to 2018. The 4th annual Decadence celebration was at none other than Chandler’s Rawhide Event Center Saturday 12/30/17- 12/31/17. The hype was unreal with each lineup phase that was dropped and when we finally read the set times--we knew we were ready to have the most decadent celebration of 2017!!!

This Decadence we were blessed with two main stages: Sapphire Ballroom and the Diamond Atrium. Some of the best artists gifted us with their presence—to name a few of my favorite: Zhu, Tchami, What So Not, Rüfüs Du Sol, Duke Dumont, Deorro, and Armin Van Buren.

The music was incredible as expected, but the vibes that each and every artist and person brought to Deca was out of this world. Hearing What So Not drop “Jaguar” in person was something that I wanted (get it) for so long and jamming to it at the Diamond Atrium was unforgettable. Sapphire Ballroom stole my heart—with Duke Dumont followed by Rüfüs Du Sol, then ZHU, and Tchami—I did not stop dancing all night.

In preparation for the two magical days of Decadence I listened to so many sets, and when I finally was at the stage waiting for Duke Dumont, I knew that signature opening from him-- "Need you 100%". His entire set was full of his best bangers and he even dropped one of this year's best tracks, "Cola" by CamelPhat.

Following Duke was one of the groups that I have been DYING to see, Rüfüs Du Sol. This group hails from Austrailia and they brought the magic to the stage. They had their beautiful name flashing on the stage behind them while the entire crowd danced and vibed to tracks like "Innerbloom" (which we were also BLESSED to hear What So Not remix during his set).

Zhu truly had one of the most sets I have ever had the privilege of witnessing!!! From the stage, to his sax player, to the proposal that happened during his set.

Pure bliss. He ended his set with "Cocaine Model"--this moment was everything! That track is how I discovered and fell in love with ZHU's music.

Every set was perfectly planned, the visuals had the crowd hypnotized, and being around such a dope environment was exactly where we needed to be.

We conquered 2017, we danced, we destroyed the dance floor (and we ain’t apologizing!), and we began another year the best way KAMP knows how—with Relentless Beats.
