Though The Bushwick Hotel is not literally a place of respite, the band's lively spirit, sonically eclectic elements, and bright elements will put hearts, minds, and ears at ease. From Brooklyn, New York, the band calls on inspiration from the likes of Elvis Costello, Band of Horses, David Bowie, The Band, and Van Morrison. Each member adds their own exotic talents for a diverse sound full of jazzy saxophone and swinging beats, making The Bushwick Hotel stand out from the crowd. The band formed in 2012 when Gregory Ferreira was working on his second solo album "Graffiti of the Young Man's Mind" at his Brooklyn studio, Live By The Sword. Amond the busy Brooklyn music scene, he began to collaborate with fellow musicians, and Ferreira's album, originally intended as a solo effort, transformed into the band's debut record. Although the line-up has changed over the years, their local following has only grown, and they have found themselves as leading members of the Brooklyn music and art scene. The band's latest EP "Hard Times" was released on February 24, 2017; with singles "Show You The Way" and "Kristina" beinging strong praise from critics and fans alike.
