Rich the Kid, the Atlanta rapper that everyone has heard of once but doesn't really choose to acknowledge, has released his new mixtape, "The Rich Forever Way." While his song "Plug", which is not on this mixtape, has been popular right now, it's mostly because of the features on it, such as Kodak Black. This mixtape proves that Rich the Kid is better with features than by himself. While the beats are classic Southern trap beats that we love from artists like Gucci Mane, Rich the Kid's speed is lacking and he relies too heavily on catchy hooks to get him through each song. The best song on the album, "New Wave (Remix)", features Madeintyo. Madeintyo isn't exactly the most talented rapper either but with Rich the Kid on the track, he sounds like a master in comparison. Maybe I'm just biased because I like Madeintyo more than Rich the Kid, so make sure to take a listen. "Like 3" is also a pretty good song if you're looking for something that you can just chant to when you're at a party. The hook is good and definitely something that'll get stuck in your head but if you're looking for rap skills, this song doesn't show any sign of any. Overall, the mixtape is lack-luster and needs more work. Luckily, this mixtape is just to hype his upcoming album so hopefully the album will prove that he's more than just what he shows on this mixtape.

New Wave (Remix) (****) - Madeintyo is good. Rich the Kid is okay. Basic Atlanta beat
Like 3 (***) - Typical trap song. I could see this playing at a party with everyone chanting the hook.
