Drunk is Thundercat’s third studio album. Drunk  was my introduction to Thundercat’s discography. Although, I have heard many of his features including his appearance on Kendrick Lamar’s 2015 album To Pimp A Butterfly, which I thought added a lot to the album. This album was a wild ride for me. It’s incredibly quirky and goofy but Thundercat does it in a great and unique way. There are definitely some catchy and fun songs on this as well as some somber and calming songs. With that being said, Drunk did leave a little bit to be desired substance wise. However, for what it does give, it was very pleasing and just an overall fun listen. I’d recommend this to pretty much anyone. It’s a really enjoyable experience and is a good introduction to who Thundercat really is.
