American Candy

Acts:
The Maine
Acts:
Beach Weather
Concert Date:
Sat, 09/26/2015
Location:
The Rock, Tucson, Arizona

There was a huge turnout for this show. Probably because The Maine is from Tempe and it's exaciting to see a band from your state make it decently big. But first, Beach Weather came on stage and was a great opener. Beach Weather is the newly formed band with vocalist Nick Santino who was the former vocalist of A Rocket to the Moon. I've seen Nick Santino live both as a solo artist and with A Rocket to the Moon but I honestly enjoyed Beach Weather the best out of all of his projects.

Ratatat at the Rialto

Acts:
Hot Sugar
Acts:
Ratatat
Concert Date:
Mon, 09/21/2015
Location:
The Rialto

There were these two men standing on the back left side of the stage during Hot Sugar’s performance. You wouldn’t have noticed them unless you were far enough right to catch a glimpse every time they shifted in the shadows; and just like the crowd they would bob their head to the music and clap loud after a particularly heart thumping set. They were in plain t-shirts and jeans, not spouting any crazy colored hair or a bands logo - pretty mild for an electronic rock concert.

Have you ever wanted to know what it is like to be in the presences of a god?

A few months later, before they had even finished the Prepare for Hell Tour, Slipknot announced this follow-up tour that would ravage the country essentially until they needed to start preparing for Knotfest 2015.
