Metal BlogSo I’m not going to lie, this is the first metal CD that I have ever listened to in its entirety. And Jesus Christ these guys have energy. They are pretty with it, as far as any band goes, and they seem to be in tune with each other. The beat is consistently awesome throughout the album; it is pure musical chaos… and I LOVE it. The whole album is like one constant track until track 9, which is like stepping off of a spaceship and track 13 is some crazy jazzy jam. Plus they are from effing Poland and what could be more awesome than that? -Alex G. This Friday I will be back in good'ol Little Elm (by Dallas/Plano for those of you who do not know your abnormally small towns with astonishing pregnancy rates) and boy do I miss those tours that hit up Texas. FOR EXAMPLE: Pictures, interview run-downs, and much much more will be both here and on Twitter shortly. ALSO: Have a fantastic Spring Break, metal heads! -Liz Motherfuckin' Wilshin Last week was EPIC on the CMJ charts. I am about to piss myself. Fortunately, I wore Depends today. Okay, here’s the best part. The (overall) KAMP Top Ten: Rank Artist Recording Label User Supplied Version Loud Rock Chart: 1 LAMB OF GOD Wrath Epic Cannibal Corpse affirms why they are they best selling Death Metal band of all time with their new album Evisceration Plague. They continue to redefine Death Metal even after 11 albums. This album is SICK! It has the trademark corpsegrinder sound with the skill found on Kill and the brutality of Tomb of the Mutilated! This is definitely my favorite Cannibal Corpse album yet! The only complaint I have is that the album artwork is pretty weak, but its still more extreme than the clap on ASU's campus. Overall: 8.5/10 -DJ Ed Fury Definitely Lamb of God and though I don’t think is necessarily the best thing since indoor plumbing, it is still fantastic. They’re trying something new by going for a more melodic tone and even intermixing some singing. It doesn’t work sometimes, but it’s great to see that they’re not confined into one style as so many other successful bands have done. 1. “The Passing” 3/5- just a melodic intro -- Liz Wilshin Hey, everyone!
